Lame....upgraded control arms that connect to the wheel through a squishy bushing. Set-up is only as good as it's weakest link. ;)

Someone needs to make solid monoballs for the rear wheel bearing housing; lower bushing. The factory set-up is a joke.

Loctite only works in the absence of oxygen. If you don't get it tight, it may still have oxygen and won't set anyway.

If you want to use it, make sure you use the "blue", non-permanent type.

That's going to be a....

....biatch to get at.

Bolt p/n: N 901 836 03
Washer p/n: N 013 807 6 (need two)

That is the pressure line that feeds your N75 valve, and ultimately back to your wastegates.

Re: ..probably closer to a squeal

Have you checked the PS fluid level? Sounds like you may be a touch low.

Make sure you follow the directions in the manual on checking your PS fluid.

Re: Burning smell and thump

Smell is likely the transmission rear output seal leaking. Common problem, leaks on the cats and stinks.

The thump is probably your 135k mile tranny fluid sucking the remaining life out of your...

Where's the lever and the fulcrum??

By the definition of offset, the geometery of the wheels have to "match". As long as the spacers are hubcentric there is no lever; at least no different then what the factory wheel would have.

Re: you would need a 20MM spacer and new lug bolts...

Spacer width doesn't matter. Any spacer should be hubcentric. Once bolted it will have similar geometery/forces as the factory wheel.

Re: thanks.. i've checked that one too.. it's not directly under the battery right?

Sounds right....the one the battery ground cable leads too.

There should be no wires under there to be pinched. You either have a bad ground or a direct short to ground.
