I drive from Boston to the ME mountains most...

I drive from Boston to the ME mountains most weekends and love my wintersports. I'm on my third season with the M3's and they were incredible tearing around during the new years storm up there.

I know the allroad has gotten more expensive to warranty, but I agree with the others that $6K is a rip off. my warranty goes to 100k, is bumper to bumper and cost about $2,700 when I got the car....

x3 - I got mine for under $100, so shop around. I'm not sure how they do in winter weather as I run dedicated snows, but I have been more than satisfied w/warm weather performance.

4th - plus you can toss snowshoes and other wet gear up there too.

I notice the cargo area is much cleaner when I have the box on.

Audio Video Integration. They put in my radar detector, parrot bluetooth and Dice iPod link. I also got a quote from sound in motion, but AVI was a touch cheaper and could do the work when I needed.

I'm in Boston, but spend most of my weekends in Maine or VT. Wouldn't go without a dedicated snow tire in northern new england, and the M3's have been a gem. Deep snow or the recent ice storm...

I do a lot of driving in the snow and at night and have never had an issue with visibility.

If I were going to do it again I would go 20% on the rear windows for added privacy and sun protection...
