Possible TT purchase

Looking at 2003 TT Quatro Cab. No service history, seller only has owned 3 months, 55k miles. Besides getting all fluids changed, i assume I must do cam belt?

Also, is $12k a reasonable price?

Glad she arrived okay. I forgot to check here and when I didn't hear from you I was a little worried. The Lid has been like taht awhile, thought it showed in the pics I sent. It still worked okay....

2.7t has more power upside.

Late 04 and all 4.2s have diffferent TC. There is a service bulletin about the 01-early 04 TCs. Mine "failed" at 32k (no driving issues, just warning light. Tranny failed 7k later.

One possibility is that the TC failure damaged the Tranny. The TC failed 125 miles from home so I drove with the warning light on back home.
