Found a set to trade for on the B6 forum... And they came pre-installed on the "new" car.

We'll see how they are once they are all dialed in, but for right now they are kinda bouncy on the highway. Not really cost effective to try and trade up, so I guess they will stay on for now. Will...

Well, she just saved $900 on registration as DOL agent said the compy wouldn't let her

enter in a number higher than $15k for price of car. Some people... :) So I might try to convince her. But convincing a 56 y/o woman that she needs a chip might be a real hard sell.

I am blown away... Previous owner did APR exhaust, Carbonio intake, SS, rear sway, C/O's, and a timer, but no chip. Still going to take it to Achtuning to triple check, but I am baffled... Now to...

Yip said he wouldn't be able to tell from just VAGing it, and that he is very practiced in pulling

the ECU. I don't know how familiar Mark is with the B7s, is there something we should be looking for if we hook it up to VAG to determine chipping? Thanks for your help Bryan...

Already called APR, they said I had to contact installing dealer, and they were no help...

Skyler at Achtuning said I should be fine, but from what I have read here I am a little nervous. I would hate to lose the programming if it is there. Problem is it's just not that easy to run down...
