Got mine changed mine a year ago when the front was off for cambelt etc etc and used a RS4 version - factory stock but stiffer - fits...

No Audi in the UK/Europe had a glass roof until about the mid 1990's -- however that doesn't mean that a later glass version couldn't be persuaded to fit - just never seen it done over here.

I did mine from the battery.

Ran a new heavy duty cable, within a sheath, along the line of the factory cabling. Two relays mounted just behind the front panel ( on the chassis part that runs back towards the passenger cabin)....

I cannot remember who built it but it is in fact a Ur Quattro estate ( avant - wagon, whatever you want to call it !)
They also built a 'widened Golf - but it was actually a Golf bodied Porsche 928...

I think the offset ( ET) is different but

in Europe the 2000S4s have them 8x17 and the B6 S4 has 8x18s with a better offset.
Only S8s had those rims in the UK and they are like hen's teeth as the B4 S2 guys use them....
