There is a TSB discussing a leak caused by a water line being pinched by the tailgate. Get this fixed before water leaks on to the amplifier and controller board in the back of the car... or both...

Thanks! I just tried the fix in the "Engine Starts Hard" TSB; I'll let you know if it works. Engine needs to get cold first.

Thanks for the reply, I figure the starter is probably the issue.

My mechanic is Pacific Rim Automotive in Seattle. They were recommended by someone I know who owns a 2006 Avant. I've been there...

A6 Battery Replacement

I'm thinking of replacing the battery in my 2006 A6 Avant. Though the battery life indicator states 100%, starts are getting weak, especially when the engine is cold. Car is on the original battery...
