What I've always done....on all my cars...

Drive to auto parts store, buy 2 cans of 'engine wash', spray the crap out of it. Shut the hood and drive to closest car wash...in my case, it's next door but i let engine idle a bit at the car wash...

I would suggest you guys go and clean the reservoir filter/screen first.....

Pull the filter/screen out, spray it down good with some brake cleaner....let dry, re-install and add magnets now.

I'm suspecting all you are doing is lifting the metal dust out of the...

I guess it's possible the blow to the wheel was transferred to the rack too....either way, insurance should cover it...

As for the steering rack...you sure you didn't just pop or bent the tie rod?

I think you've sorted your braking and suspension setup seven ways to Sunday by now..

I just eliminated my mech. PS pump...should be interesting to see how the new setup works out.

I loved my exhaust note the best with bone stock exhaust and cone filter...

stock header as well....past 4-5K rpms car sounded more like a raging V8 or some super-car, no kidding.

I have 2.5" CAC catback, no cat and stock V6 airbox....you can try and pick out the exhaust...
