Yeah, it was the stock sport suspension, but it wasn't a factory install.

The previous owner bought a used sport suspension set up and put it on around 80k. When we got the struts out, every one was pretty much beat. In all, they probably had about 125k miles on them.

The suspension order has been placed, went with the race springs

since they were avant specific. Pretty excited to freshen up the suspension and experience that "like new" feeling. I'll throw out an update on the progress further on down the road.

Needs some insight on H&R Race vs. Sport springs for a B5 Avant

The goals are to tighten the suspension feel while not sacrificing too much ride quality, but also eliminating some wheel gap. I live in SW Pa., so snow and poor roads will be dealt with on occasion....

oil change, replacing a burnt out bulb, wash and interior cleaning

then it'll sit for 2 weeks while I'm away on a job in Dayton and hopefully undergo a timing belt/water pump job and motor/trans mount replacement.

Reattaching fuel pump wires after a spirited jaunt through the woods/mud puddles

And I guesss hammering out the fender to clear the tire from a bent a-arm due to an impact with a deer and the subsequent slide into a ditch. Only had to limp the car home about 2 miles on back...
