Very difficult, and getting the seatbelts on is really hard...

...The Q7 has isofix on the back row, and the outer seats on the middle row.

My excess is more than the cost of the repair, but.....

if my insurance company can get the stupid women's insurance company to foot the bill, all will be well. Otherwise, I'll be cheaper getting it repaired myself!

Bad month.....

Having a bad few weeks so far:
1. some stupid women (no offence) went straight through a right turn only lane, and bumped into the side of my car - OUCH!
2. hit a pothole and damaged the sidewall...

I would NEVER put through a car wash. The idiots at the dealer before I owned it did. Thats why I am getting it polished, but it will never fully get rid of the swirls. Ho hum....!!

BBS CK alloys fitted....(car needs a wash!)

Just fitted my new BBS CK alloys, 9.5 x 20", with Dunlop SP MAXX 275/35R20. Still got the soap on the tyres...:)

Sold my Q7 at the weekend.

Bought myself an A8 4.2TDi.

WOW! What a machine. Very powerful, and amazingly quiet. Got 37mpg on my drive back from Dorset to Glasgow (480 miles via the M25!.

625 miles from a tank of Diesel @ 37 mpg average

Got an indicated 150mph, and was still pulling.

Went to the dealer to see about getting one...

But they are looking for £20000 plus my car. The base price for the 4.2TDI S Line is £51000 ($104,000/€75,500) once you add all the required toys - 21", AMI, SAT NAV etc it worked out at £57K...

Number of reasons.....

I wanted to upgrade to the new 4.2TDI Q7, but by dealer was giving me a very poor trade in price for my Q7.

There are loads of Q7s in my area, so I wanted something exclusive - not many A8s around...
