I have fitted the Vagparts chrome mirror casings to my cab, they are plastic though and not aluminium. Externally they look identical to the S4 Cab mirrors as they match the windscreen surround.

I had mine replaced at 14k , same problem as Honkie's where it would tend to over rev and lurch forwards in slow moving traffic.

Now done 43k and no problems with the second CVT as yet.

Yes, my Sports seats do exactly the same thing. An annoying quirk and I would class it as a design fault.

Last I heard was that the new grill would not be appearing until the new (not facelifted) A4 comes out in 2006/7. Therefore expect Cab to get grill on the new model.

Current TT won't be getting...

Mine is a 2.4 CVT and nearly all my driving is on the motorway, I get 27mpg at a steady 90mph and about 18mpg around town.

No new grill for CAB & TT, for the moment

Read in a new A6 review in CAR magazine that the new style grill will NOT be applied to the current CAB and TT.

This may change once the new A4 comes out in 2005/6. I guess it is just delaying...
