If the inner tie rod joints are failing,wouldn't...

If the inner tie rod joints are failing,wouldn't the slack/free spot be there when engine is not running?

It's tight as can be until the engine is started..

Hi all.

I recently replaced all control arms except the tierod ends(as they seemed pretty good and the fact that it triggers a new wheel alignment)

All has been goo until the other day....

Guessing since The S8 do have gas pressure shocks...

Guessing since The S8 do have gas pressure shocks oem there wont be any oil leak when they go bad. :)

I've just changed all 4 shocks on my S8 to Bilstein B6 Sport.
They are absolutely perfect for the S8 with oem springs.

Regarding failed shocks and oil leak, i did not notice a leak in any of mine...

On my Last A8 D2 i ran 10x20 ET 35 with 255/30/20, It also had KW v2 lowered apx 40mm in the front and 30mm on the rear. No problems at all. no rubbing at any time.

Do want 10x20 on the S8!

brand new startes at $320 000 usd.
A 2009 for "only" $165 000 usd.

Adjustable Koni's for the A8/S8 ?

On my last A8 i had KW2 with rebound adjustable Koni's.

So i figured out i'd try to find just the shocks for the S8 but it doesn't seem like Koni makes any shocks for our cars?

I'm just afraid...

I would def like to find out the difference...

So i'm gonna do a bit more research before i order.
