They must have been broken off and long lost under the seat or thrown away by a prior owner. You may have to rig up something like zip ties (unfortunately).

Thanks for the info. I just found this problem with my '13 S5, and I am hoping the B8.5 chassis is like your A6 and can be done without removing the dash.

I installed 12mm (f) and 18mm (r), and that package looks pretty aggressive. If I did it all over, I would probably go with just a tad less. Maybe 10mm & 15mm.

BUT, that is with a 19"x8.5" ET25...
