The manual for HU says do not connect 1-3 Ohm speakers to it, only 4-8 Ohm...
I also did some more research and few people complained that such setup fried built-in amplifiers in the HU.

I recently purchased this car and previous made Car Toys install aftermarket head unit,
but they didn't by pass BOSE speaker amps and didn't use pre-amp output on HU,
so signal go double...

brake problem on 3.0L sedan

Patient is 3.0L sedan.
After noticing that I can't lock the stock brakes on dry road, I installed HP2 brakes from my B5 S4 (S4 got BBK). Stopping power improved a little, but still brake bite wasn't...

When upper control arms are replaced on lowered car, should angle of control arms be adjusted also?

Bentley says it should be 57mm +- 2mm between upper plate and arms(according to writeup below).
But if car is lowered angle should be different, right? Otherwise there will be too much pressure on...

$100 vs remanufactured stock for $75....

BTW, there is a guy on ebay who would your leaked one for 5 or 10 bucks...

Brown foam on oil dipstick and oil cap. Oil cooler or head gasket?

3.0L 30v engine doesn't misfire or anything ubnormal.
I did STFA - most likely bad oil cooler, but how to check it to be sure? There are no visual leaks on it.
Where is the best place to buy it?

Local Audi tech claims that it's possible to replace aux. water pump without removing IM,

by removing bi-pipes. He claimed there is enough room to do it through the front.
Did somebody try it?

Is axle bolt stretchable? I installed new bolts when I replaced axles 3 weeks ago, but need to

replace bearings now, so can I reuse those bolts?
They have only 300 miles on them?
Or they stretch and need to be replaced everythime?
