I have to chime in here and say, that an M3 is fine in snow with a good winter wheel/tire setup.
I am in a snowy climate and have had numerous rear drive BMW's 3's, 5's no problems with right winter...

S6=550 not sure about that. Might come close on price, but after that I think the S6 will out classes the 550x drive all around. More hp, torque, technology and way fewer on the road.

Yeah I agree. BMW is more competitive with there rates. I could probably get a decently equipped 550x drive in the mid $800's. I have not seen any great reviews on the new 5 series though.

Not sure how many have experienced this issue, but unfortunately the TSB for power steering hose fix is only for A4's.

When my car was in for water pump replacement i had them look into problem....
