AWS actually was available in the US, but it was removed from the options list a couple years ago. To my knowledge, Audi never provided a formal explanation for its discontinuation in the US market....

By tweaking my deductible and adjusting coverages, I was able to get my premiums near where they are now. I'm happy I made it work, but it still doesn't make any sense.

And in many areas they enforce it pretty strictly. I grew up in PA, and on several occasions I witnessed friends and family members remove aftermarket tint at the request of law enforcement.
