Yes but there is a very practical reason for the alcantara seats... it provides some grip for when your butt cheeks clentch together when pushing such a big vehicle around cornders at speeds reserved...

I have put a MTM M cantronic chip on my 4.2 TDI. Also fitted remus exchaust and changed air filters to K&N. End result was a 5.3sec to 60miles / hr time. Quicker then the V12.

Very easy to fit.

Remus exhaust fitted to 4.2 TDI

Fitted a remus sports to the 4.2 TDI.... Looks the part, slightly meaner look then stock, the carbon inlay looks good.. throatier sound. Performance hard to tell.. at this stage nothing...

for my part, i cant compare with the six speed as haven't driven back to back, but can say i have absolutely no complaints with the 8 speed. very smooth and you do not notice the gear changes....

not sure, but you should see in between your gauges.. at the bottom.. you should see D2, D3 etc for Drive gears 2, 3 etc. or S3, S4 for 3rd 4th gear etc whilst in sport.
if not, go to setup on...
