The valve-lifted 2.0T in the B8 A4 is better in every way but ya, drivetrains will be different. For me, having Quattro is worth the extra weight. I do feel that the B8 A4 is too big sometimes tho.

IMHO, only the S-line stone guards look good w/out matching fronts and rears. I remember seeing pics of the Audi accessory side skirts w/out the fronts and rears to match, and it just looked awkward...

You can drive 5 laps around Course #1 in a 4.2 R8 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for $250 :) It was a blast. The R8 handles like butter and the brakes are amazing.
