"Certified A8" .....

They're only certified because of their so-called ability to repair aluminum as per Audi's standards. If the panels are needing replacement anyone can repair it.

.....most likely the person that buys a gt3 rs or the new gt2.

spending 100-110k on the r8 can be somewhat justified. spending 128-136k for the r8 is questionable.
