That would certainly be my experience. BTW the numbers I quoted were from the EPA web page - not sure if they derive the numbers or use the manufacturer's.

Q5 2.0 EPA is 20/27 mpg vs. X3 i28 at 19/25 mpg. Not a big difference, but a difference and I have been getting more like 23/30 mpg.
