I'm guessing most everyone has had to replace their climate control unit at some point by now. Its not difficult to remove the plastic piece that surrounds it to reveal the fasteners that hold it...

My pictures are all original panels. Just saying if you tried to use an A6 panel, and I'm guessing an Audi 100 panel, it would not have the extra flared arches and wouldn't meet the bumper properly....

And I'd guess an Audi 100 panel wouldn't have flared wheel arches. Like an A6 panel fits but has no flares and meets...

1997 would be a Canadian URS6 or S6. Nearly the same car as the 1992-1994 S4.

Many added RS2 components like the exhaust manifold and turbo etc along with a chip.

Not sure how fast the engine was turning over but it won't spark if it's not turing over fast enough. So if your battery was barely turing the engine that may be why.

I sold my solid '95 with still nice black interior last year for $4,600, easily. It had like 180k and was stock with an MTM stage 1+ chip, silicone hoses, and LS2 ignition .. no rust issue or bumper...
