Awesome bud..

Yeah, basic sciences years of med school (the first two years) are pretty much hell on wheels. Its better after that. I don't really ever get to SoFla, but congrats on making it through the tough...

Not bad, but..

a disco potato, or GT28RS will make 350 crank hp very easily and spool a decent bit faster than the 2871. They share the same NS-111 turbine wheel, the 71 just has a larger GT30 family compressor...

Yep, that was me Mike. Glad to hear that you got your car running so well...

as I said over there, you definitely deserve it after keeping at it for so long. Any plans for it now?

Thanks..

I still have to do residency (minimum of 5 years for rads). I'm thinking I'll probably try to stay here in Alabama. I like Birmingham a lot and they have a great rads program, so hopefully it works...

Its a fun car, not as fun as my old Evo...

but its nice to be in a quiet car that looks nice as well. The engine is amazing. The torque output is borderline absurd. I dyno'ed it recently and it was making 300 wtq at 1800 rpm, 335 wtq at 2k...

Well I graduate med school in about 6 months...

haha, no thats not really why.

I had just grown used to it. It was fast enough that I had a hard time finding something other than bikes to mess with. 99% of the time I was just putting around...

3076 >> 3071

Basically the same amount of lag with either. The 76mm exducer on the 3076 at least will make that GT30 hotside do a bit of work.

Heh, yeah..

I decided to come back to my Euro roots. I like the car, but its a little boring compared to the Evo. Just got to get used to a "regular" car again. Thought about you guys recently as I actually...

I doubt the legitimacy of the "Dinan" drag pull. Personally I think...

its BS as there was another member there during those two weeks and never saw another 335 run.

There really aren't any at this time....

As far as piggybacks there is the procede which works well, but not worth 1400 bucks. There is the "juice box" which I what I use which is similar to the "turbo tuner" but increases fueling also.

Heh, yeah. Should trap a minimum of 108 next time I go back to the track =)

1 mod and its not one of those marvels of marketing, the procede.

I got sucked into the Vishnu web with my Evo...it won't happen again.

Oil cooler went on all 6 speed cars regardless of sport. Auto cars only got..

the cooler if they had sport as well since BMW figured since you are auto/non-sport = grocery getter.
