Yes, check motor/snub/tranny mounts.
Also, you have classic signs that your starter is starting to go bad (see what I did there?).
The starter issue is not uncommon for this chassis.

Ok, so I installed the relays and the fan works great!
I also removed the climate control head unit, took it apart and cleaned out the dust/crap that accumulated inside of it over a span of eighteen...

I had this issue on by B7 RS4 several weeks ago and posted about it on another forum. I checked the relays and they were fine. I replaced the fan control module and all is good again.
