a few drips of oil after shutting the engine off

i've been noticing it lately, it doesn't leak enough to require adding any oil yet and the engine still runs fine. when i open the hood and look at the engine i can a bunch of oil in the crevace...

the audi likes the new exhaust

the audi is running well with the new exhaust, 2.5" catback and new muffler.

it holds 1000 rpm idle steady, doesn't shake at idle anymore, sounds a whole lot better while running, seems to drive...

new rotors with 1 year old pads?

i need to replace my front rotors and i just replaced the brake pads and had the front rotors turned last july. is it okay to reuse the pads? thanks.

if after replacing the fan resistor you still notice that speed 2 doesn't come on (but speed 1 comes on when the a/c is on) then investigate the fan relay under the driver's side of the windshield.

$1500, a whole bunch of stuff replaced on it. needs a bomb and exhaust though. i just washed it and full boosted it around the neighborhood. amazing how these cars run better after you wash them...

started it again this afternoon

after a night of sitting the engine still sounds like a champ and it started right up too. i'm impressed. my hats off to mobil 1 and audi's engine construction.

engine runs

i fixed the hose yesterday at lunch, topped the oil off and started the engine up and it ran. ticked at first but once the oil got pumping the ticking went away. anybody still want to buy my audi? ...
