Re: how did you know it was a bad hose

No to any improvement by replacing the "bomb." It just provides you with extra hydraulic boost capability in case of an emergency stop. The light is a PITA but I have been driving with a bad BOMB for...

Re: Bad Gas mileage

If the filter is dirty, it can make a big difference. If you are not sure when it was changed, you should do it since it is a cheap item and a part of regular maintenance. Also the spark plugs can be...

Re: how did you know it was a bad hose

The pressure hose is the high priced one and available at NAPA for about $25.00. If it is leaking, you will know it without doubt. I have been using mine for a year now and it is still very content....

Re: Well I messed around with the mixture some this weekend..

Maybe that ISV has a weak spring and not closing right. Has it ever been replaced? Mine was troublesome at about 175,000 and I lucked out finding a good one at the junk yard for $10.00.. I tried...

Re: Where can I get a throttlebody to intake manifold gasket..? PMC doesnt have them...

I bought a high temp gasket kit and made one for my 5000 TQ. It has worked fine for three years now. Make sure it is high temp material though and no sealer.

Andrew, If your dad looks under the hood and finds a strange object protruding from the firewall, tell him not to worry. It is probably just your shoe.

Re: My car wanders, help is needed

If your tires are showing any edge wear, inside or outside, it can be your tierod ends. If not that, then possibly control arms and/or bushings wearing. Also before we complicate it too much, you...

Re: Sticking throttle linkage??

If this is still a problem, and you haven't done so, make sure you clean all return springs and linkage near the throttle body intake with a good grease cutting carb cleaner. Mine sticks like you...

Re: I do have heated seats, but the noise is in the dash?

The noise is coming from the dash area because that is where the relays are located. A couple depending on your equipment (heated seats) are under the dash and somewhat visible after removing the...
