They need to make the security system in the car detect a repeater and set off the alarm. It shouldn't be overly difficult for it to recognize its own challenge being rebroadcast.

I assume they checked the obvious culprits, especially something as simple as a loose cable vibrating when subjected to a firm airflow, a loose panel, and other sources of wind noise.

Yes, mine refused to adjust the volume when listening to SiriusXM, from either console or steering wheel. The volume display was grayed out and it said it was currently unavailable. Worked fine...

They're so similar I'd base a decision purely on financials and availability. The 2015 will have a higher resale value than an identical 2014, which has a higher resale value than an identical 2013....
