under $300 shipped. The risk is they are not new. However, I have no issue reconditioning any scratches as I need to paint them Dolphin Gray anyway.

He told me he's had to redo too many aftermarket cats at about 12K miles after installation. How and why is not known. Possibly the OEM uses something in the element that the aftermarket ones don't?

My indy mechanic said no way to after market units. He won't install them stating that they don't last like OEM. I trust his judgment.

This happened to my daughter's B5

I pulled the carpet up on the passenger side and the module was completely submerged. I dried it out and baked it in the oven at 150 deg for a couple of hours to completely dry it out. Works fine now.
