2008/2009 R8 Reliability

Greetings!

Would anyone like to enlighten me a little on the reliability or major issues of a 2008/2009 R8 with a manual transmission? Would you recommend that year R8 with a manual?

I think you should be able to haggle at least 3% off MSRP no problem. Most dealers will require a deposit. I know in VA it's not refundable if you have a change of heart and back out of the deal...
