I have had this same problem

I have a 2004 S4 auto trans. with about 65000 on it. Whenever the car is not kept in a garage or it gets below freezing i get this same limp mode. After about 5 to 10 minutes of warming the car up...

So after seven months and 3 or 4k on the car i can wait a bit to change the oil. I am not that worried about it, a oil change is about the only cheap thing to do to my audi.

dont know about all of it but that car looks...

dont know about all of it but that car looks awesome. I'd keep it, cant go wrong. Once you own it whats wrong with some expensive repair bills. You've treated it like a gem. KEEP IT!
