there must be some misunderstandings on my part as to how engine power is divided via Torsen at the center. even if all three diffs are open, my observation shouldn't have happened. No?

I was rotating the tires past weekend. due to the advanced age of my brain I forgot to lock the rear axels with the parking brake.

actually, it ain't that bad...

there were moments of doubt in the beginning, but it hasn't fell off in 2+ years without any backup harness. I try to make sure the contact surface is always wet for the license frame to take hold....

I can't quite recall seeing somewhere that...

the C5 A6 has pre-drilled holes to put LATCH anchors in for the center position. you need to get the specific anchors at the dealer, though
