I don't know much about the retofit, but I do know that you will need a new AMI unit - the non-MMI AMI and MMI AMI are very different and not cross-compatible..

I think it looks nice with contrasting colors. It is a two part piece. The "frame" is meant to be painted body color and the blade is meant to be painted a contrasting color

I would definitely go for the 35mm offset. 18" and 19" VMRs designed for the A4 are ET35. However, if the OP is lowered, he would want to run 245 tires instead of 255...

Yes the fogging will come off with a moist towel. Obviously, the fog is on the inside you you have to gain access to the inside of the housing. There are many threads on how to access the fog bulbs....
