I have the APR tune and I have the same sound. Not a overly loud whistling/whirring, buts it's most certainly there after the tune, and yes all that new power trumps the sound.

I agree with you guys on the tranny. I APR tuned my car and if has made a big difference, but still not perfect overall, certainly not Porsche's PDK.
