Good info above. I'll add some more info next week.....

Heading for the 13 hour at VIR. Best advice is to talk to a few people running IP at the track or on the phone. Shoot me an email and I'll give you my number.

Who's going to be at the 13hr at VIR?

Driving again this year for German Speed Merchants in their ITB Jetta. Should be a bit warmer this year! Look for the yellow Jetta and a trailer full of beer. Stop by and say hello!

When to the dyno a couple days ago....

Numbers look good, but it was running a bit rich. I've got a couple more chips being sent to me to try and get things dialed in.

I just got back from alignment & corner balancing. I'm going to...

Nope. It was my first 2 hour stint...

I think at about the 4 hour mark with 9 hours to go. THere were a ton of Miata's in the race and they were by far the most aggressive dirvers out there. When I saw a pack racing, I just stayed away....

I think you have much better control if you keep your hands at close to 9 & 3

no matter where the steering wheel is. YOu maintain leverage & the ability to maximally correct if te rear comes around or the front end pushes.

However, I still make my novice and intermediate...
