"First new unread" links to forum homepage

Instead of to the first unread post in a thread, it just throws you back to the frontpage. I don't know if anyone else has this issue (in Safari).

What do you mean by "having to build their own car for once"?

I agree that it would be surprising for them to be off form, but rules shakeups can catch some teams out even with the resources they have. Look at their 2007. Look at Ferrari in 2005 (probably...

Dennis plays down test form.

Maybe they were just playing their cards close to their chest with the introduction of their new components in the actual tests (rather than in the lab) so that other teams could not copy them if...

Some interesting components coming to light on these new F1 cars...

What I thought was cool was Red Bull came back out with their "fin" appendage, but this time it stretches all the way back to the rear wing.

Yes but isn't that last year's STR using the new slick tires and simulating 2009 downforce levels?

But you're right that the new cars aren't as quick as the old ones.

That much for a TT is too much. I won't be able to afford it either way. I hope it gets an upgrade

to its AWD system as they discuss in the Fourtitude article.

link

Maybe they are trying to shy away from putting all their eggs in one basket...

Although I'm sure they're all great drivers. This is assuming that entry is accurate, though.

I wouldn't put it past Nick Fry to sabotage any buyout plans that don't involve him

Sabotage is a big word, but I could see him undermining a serious buyer that would sack him. I want the bugger out myself.

I already stopped trying to follow WRC after the results were Loeb 1st, then Fords, then everyone...

else. Also, we don't get it on SPEED channel anymore. For a while I'd download all 3 days of coverage for each weekend, but that fell by the wayside after the 2007 season. Subaru being out just...

Well it should be on SPEED HD, but those a-holes aren't broadcasting it. Can you watch it delayed?

Or do you have to watch it live? I don't really want to get up that early.

They're thinking about shortening the races if they ban refueling so the cars don't have to be...

redesigned yet again. I say just wait until the next generation of cars before doing this. I like the races the length they are now just fine.

Yes but an engine that runs at 18,000 rpm which is designed to have a 19,000 rpm rev limit

Probably won't make as much power as an engine designed to top out at 18,000 rpm. Is this an incorrect assertion?

World Motorsport Council's decisions

Some of these things make sense if agreed by all the teams, but I can't say that I support reducing the rev limits to 18,000 rpm. Won't everyone have to redesign their engines and modify the...

Yeah. While the new front wings aren't nearly as attractive, they aren't stupid looking either...

But those up high narrow rear wings are totally stupid looking.

STR is interested in anyone that can bring in money...

That's the only real reason Sato is being considered. He's always had some major backing, and the Japanese have a soft spot for him.
