First I've heard of that one. Sounds like the fuel level sender part of the fuel pump failed. Should be an easy fix, they would just replace the fuel pump assembly.

There is a chance you may have a water leak. Check carefully for wet carpet, look under mats, etc. There should not be very much condensation on windows unless water is getting in somewhere.
