Resurrecting this thread because it deserves five gold stars. The passthrough release in the SB is totally invisible and not documented anywhere in the manual.

In my experience, torque sticks just aren't accurate enough. I was seeing 15-20 ft/lb variations as compared to a torque wrench on the set I had.

Re: impact wrenches, I will admit to being cheap....

It doesn't look like an error. My S5 has a similar grill configuration--one side is vented for cooling. I believe there is an oil cooler or similar intercooler in the driver wheel well.

Yeah, the dealer's word is not going to be worth much when Audi's system flags the car as TD1 and Audi tells the dealer it isn't paying out for repairs.
