Did you weigh the extra pieces of the trunk to see what you saved?
Also, what are you punching the engine out to. I remember you were going with a larger turbo, (GT28rs as I remember) which will...

You basically have answered your own question. I have changed tbelts on this car enough times and that cam sprocket can be tricky when putting belt on, (as it wants to move about a 1/2 tooth) when...

This is a very open ended question as you did not mention what is going on with your turbo. It may be something simple. At 88K turbo should not be a problem unless you have not done proper oil...

Fault code 17748 - I'm not showing anyone know?

For some reason this is not showing in my list of fault codes. My guess is this has something to do with idle or camshaft position sensors as car is not idling correctly.

Anyone have any exposure...

I'm pretty sure you have a slit in one of your hoses, (I had this twice). You will not be able to see slit unless there is boost so "checking" with your eye will not help.

I run two temps cooler and was in a cold climate. Started car

only for 30 seconds and turned off. Next time I tried to start plugs were fouled.
Bottom line, let engine run for a few mins., (especially if it's cold) so one doesn't loose plugs.

I have both. My A4 is black and my A6 is silver. Black is sexy and great looking but

requires a lot more work to keep clean. Plus, living here in Fl it gets very hot most of the year.
Silver is great. Looks cleaner, stays cooler and is easy to live with.
Either way, you will like...
