Yep 3.0 no supercharger gasoline. The q7 is 2014 94k miles though, so way past what was only a four year 50k mile warranty at that model year.

I believe that TSB is the one the dealer referenced...

Joy; P049x, P1559 & P0456

Hi all, 2014 Q7 with about 94k miles on it. It's been having some odd starts intermittently where rpms bounce or hunt for a second or two before settling in. Check engine ultimately came on. I'd...

Appropriate 'grease' for power window track?

Hey all, my wife's '14 Q7 driver window has developed an issue that I think is just resistance that is enough to activate the anti-pinch feature. Auto up rarely works now, but whether it does, or...

Thanks, will check into those. Think I'm just going to have the dealer do the work in this case though, not worth that much time and frustration. :-)

Valve cover & timing chain cover gaskets DIY replacement?

Hey all, my '14 Q7 has begun leaking oil noticeably on the garage floor; not just some drops. Dealer has identified the cause as mostly the timing chain cover gasket, but also the valve cover gasket...

Sorry can't provide guidance but I'm curious what your thoughts were on the Hawk LTS's? I just installed those on my wife's Q7 with stoptech rotors. I don't drive her car regularly so I really...

That would contradict what the service manual says to do; Audi must have a reason for specifying the order they did.

Oh, just to confirm; the way I posted it is what I did, inside bleeder screw, then outside, as that's what the manual said: "If there are two bleeder screws on each brake caliper, first bleed the...

'14 Q7 master cylinder / fluid level

Is it just me or is the master cylinder reservoir in a really stupid location and very hard to actually see the fluid level? I just did my first brake flush on my Q7 last night and found it very...

Awesome thanks; I just found that page in the service manual too. I can't find a part number for the dust boot though; been digging around for the Audi part or even just the generic Brembo part. I...

Caliper piston dust boots

Hey all, just did full brake job on my '14 Q7. On the rear drivers side, and perhaps I caused it pushing the pistons back, perhaps it was already there, but there's about a 5mm tear in one of the...

I just did my wife's '14 q7 at 44,000 miles. The front OEM pads were nearly on metal, the rears would likely have lasted another 10,000 miles or more as they had probably 5+ mm of pad material left....

Anticipated cost to replace rotors and pads?

My wife's 2014 Q7 was just in for 35k mile service and dealer said front rotors are at 4mm, rears at 5mm, and Audi's opinion is replace at 3mm. So they're recommending either now, or soon, do...
