OK quick update. Took the car to dealer last...

Then they found the drivers door speaker grille stripe loose and...

omg ok I will try this then.Thanks. Seems like its the seat belt mechanism which makes that knocking noise. Let us know once dealer fix it and what they did to fix it..

DO you have an idea where does it coming from? With folded seats I still have it so most likely its not the latch..seat belt mechanism?

thats what I hear over bumps or rough...

thats what I hear over bumps or rough road..rattle or like a knocking noise like a something metal is loose and rolling in the trunk

So Dealer changed to quarter panel trim on yours...

So Dealer changed to quarter panel trim on yours but what did they do about belt mechanism?I think the knocking sound I have its from there..ALso I am wondering how to take care of the squeaking...

car spend 3 days at dealer. For the front driver side noise they found the lower speaker grille stripe which says Bang Olufsen to be loose and buzzing. Got replaced and no more buzzing noise. Told...

RS5 sportback buzzing/creaking/squeaking interior noises

Hi guys/gals,


There are few creaking and buzzing noises which driving me crazy.

Creaking/popping/squeaking noise is coming from the rear right back side around D pillar and the small window...

I am also looking at the APR stg 1 for mine. Does anyone runs MTM stg 2 or Abt power ones though? VF engineering also have stg 2. Seems like I am kinda in between APR stg 1 or MTM stg 2 ones

RSQ8 will be more expensive but RS6 will be less...

RSQ8 will be more expensive but RS6 will be less than RS7 MSRP based on the previous generation..Probably around $108-$110K
