Is it still required? I did not have to do this with BMW ED 2.5 years ago...

How long after drop-off until US delivery?

How long does it take after you drop off the car in Germany before you get it in the US (East coast). Any recent experience? Anybody really waited the 'official' 11-13 weeks?..
