I didn't realize it's such a beast...kind of defeats the purpose, IMO...

I like smaller, nimbler GT coupes, not the kind that you have to wrestle with muko aid from onboard computer(s).

Re: now with more pics!

Audi would call that normal. The pic with the boot all wet is a good indication of a bad leak, IMO.

Sounds good...

I'm sure it's a blast to drive, power to weight and all. Yeh, the Japanese aftermarket is crowded and inexpensive, unlike Audi, BMW, etc...I have a lot of choices for my Subaru too if I want to go...

Japanese electronics are vastly superior to German

and slightly better than American. I don't know why the Europeans still have such problems with reliable electronics in their cars. From bulbs burning out constantly to sunroofs opening by...

And Mercedes and VW too evidently...

Have you noticed the new Passat and E series have chrome trim in the bumpers? I thought that was mercifully killed off back in the late 80's. Just shows how barren car design is now...rinse and...

Someone mentioned doing that same thing earlier here...

I forget what they used as a tool to reopen the holes in the disc. Some cooling effectiveness is lost if they're plugged.

Amazing that this is still an issue here, Bob...

ANYBODY in the know will readily admit that lower means harsher.

Those that insist otherwise are simply blowing smoke...no matter what contortions and gyrations they perform in order to put a...

And how do you define "similar"?

Let's just ALL admit it, there's a tradeoff...better handling but less comfort vs poorer handling but more comfort. This is as old as the automobile.

Aint that the truth...

I'm with you on this, onrails. It's called taking something as basic as oil much too seriously. Use a high quality synthetic in the right weight about sums it up. Sure, some may be better than...

Then you missed a lot...

By all means, use RLI...I might too if I felt the need.

That's not the point. What we had was one person basically acting as an RLI sales rep here, quite specifically stating that only RLI was...

You're too easy, E...

you even like the wonderful auto volume leveling? That alone destroys it. Kind of like electronic throttle rev matching, where evey downshift is an adventure.

Once they put huge $'s into development, tooling, and stamping...

they don't kill a car or platform. All they then need to do is churn them out and hope for enough sales volume to recoup costs.
