I've changed tires one pair at a time for hundred of thousands of quattro miles across 5 vehicles without issue, from B5 to B8.

Yes, I DIY'd the 942_3 update and I got the fix script a few mins ago, so I'll be trying that in the morning. Mine's a little special since it's a 3GP retrofit into my 2010 B8.
