Circlip pliers?

Would you suggest straight tips or the curved tips? Should they work like standard pliers or should they be reverse pliers (when you close the hand grip the tool side gets farther apart)?

if you don't like the high engagment...

you can make a clutch stop. basically you just put something behind the clutch pedal so it doesn't travel so far (shorter throw). I did it and couldn't be happier.

I'm in Portland, OR. In Portland if cars are new enough they just hook up to the ODBII port. If they would have actually checked the exhaust I would have definately failed.
