They expect you to put your name and member number on the ballot and then e-mail it to the club?

Holiday Inn Express

in Seaside. Much cheaper than Embassy Suites next door and it's a straight shot down 218/68 to Laguna. There's also a Motel 6 up Hwy in Marina.

Nothing in the Monetrey area is exactly "cheap".

Too late, but . . .

If you had your O2 sensors replaced due to a CEL, I've heard there is an easier fix.

I was told by a reputable Audi service organization that you can reset the CEL threshold using a VAG tool and...

Try ticket assassin

fight your ticket by mail; aka trial by written declaration. If you lose, request a trial de novo and then get a lawyer

Ticket Assassin

Re: I have never done tie rod ends before. What tools do you need?

I did tie rod ends on my '00 A6 2.8 a couple of years ago. Very easy and IIRC, only basic tools like sockets and open end wrenches were required. Need some good penetrant as they can get pretty...

Re: Is that blood on my car?

Once found a severed finger wrapped in a bloody towel in the back of my old Datsun pickup truck after being parked all night outside a casino in Tahoe. Called the local PD and they took it away. ...

Re: One simple thing to help start your quest is to look at the tailpipes when the car is cold.

Good advice from April. A bit more, if you know what you're smelling you can tell the difference between coolant smoke and oil smoke by the odor. Sweet smelling is coolant, burnt smelling is oil...

Starting problems?

Believe it or not, a bad coolant temp sensor can cause starting problems when the engine is hot. ECU can't get the mixture right.

Anyway - pretty easy to replace, but it was a biatch to get at on...
