I experience cooler temps with Amsoil 5w-40 Euro after...

flushing out Mobil 0w-40 and 5w-30 several times. So after 60,000 miles I just stuck with Amsoil and never looked back.

Even after WOT, I notice the oil temp drops faster with Amsoil.

Same here. Not that any 1 brand is drastically better than the other...

I've used Mobil, Redline and Amsoil. They are all great, but Amsoil would be my choice.

$6.25/qt.

Odd, that the GT1s are kicking the LMP2s this year...

That said, I couldn't help but laugh when one of the drivers commented that at certain sections of the race track, he could smell BBQ. Talk about torture while racing ;)

That's just plain weird. I thought it was because Frank Biela's 1st pit stop...

diagonal parking job wasn't within the pit bounds.
A 10 second penalty for no gloves behind pit walls
seems, uh, harsh and odd.

Whenever I take road trips to Buffalo or Chicago...

by the time I hit anything north of Maryland,
it's easy to hit 90-110 mph for 20 minute stints.
Especially on I70 W &amp; E and on I79 N &amp; S in Penn.
Of course, I make sure I'm wide awake with...

If you're cruising at a brisk pace, averaging 80+ mph...

You should be able to do the trip in 14 hrs 30
min. That is, if you only stop for gas and the
madatory bathroom stop. If you're slow, 17 hours
then. Anyway you look at it, take your time.
