on/off rear end clunking noise, _but_ I have all new mounts, sway, etc... already STFA

the upper and lower shock mounts need to be tightened with a jack under the upright.

at or near ride height.

This may be causing the clunk.

The one from AutoZone is considered a Duralast remanufactured, but it is a Valeo unit, with the Audi rings on the case and voltage regulator.

No difference than the one I took...

AutoZone to the rescue.

They call it Duralast, however the manager took it out of the box and confirmed it says Valeo on the case and voltage regulator.

I have found that this warmup procedure produces the best results....

less than 5 seconds after starting the car, bounce it off the rev limiter in first gear, three times.

you shouldn't be blocking in every corner in the first three laps.....

these sprint races are at least 11-14 laps. I'd only block in the last lap or two and only if I was defending a leading position....
