I love mine. If you are into modifying at all the 2.0t is a great platform. The 3.2L is powerful and smooth, but just not as many options for performance.

Sline was a performance option up until many of the 08s starting
coming with Sline badging only.

Depends on state law. NJ for instance requires front and rear plate, while states like PA do not require a front plate. Technically not illegal as long as you have your states plate as well.

It's the tensioner pulley on your multi belt probably...

I've noticed mine squeeking on cold starts also, it should be covered under warranty. They are apparently prone to bearing failure. I'd get it checked out soon just to be sure.
