i got mine washed yesterday....spring detail's going to be a but of work...

my 335 is going to need some work. the bodyshop's PPG "Global" Clear sucks hard. i'm going to need to do some decent clear cleanup.

i treated the leather in both cars w/ 1Z Lederpflege.

reminds me of the kid back a few years ago that got a salvage 4.2 and it had a toasted trans.

Alcatraz, if i remember right, was the place that he tried to get the car fixed at.

he lost his shorts bigtime.

out there it's doesn't make sense to swap into a 13 year old car.

i'm waiting until april...one season we had icebergs on lake erie until mid may...

our first swim as lifeguards was on memorial day...brrr 41 degrees.

2-3x a year, but 2 will do if garaged. Einszett Glanz is the longest lasting

sealant. Zaino and FMJ are comparable, but not quite as long lasting.

Glanz has lasted for me 7 months on a car parked outside and exposed to heavy salt from Oct through April.

i think you'll be fine.

xdrive has worked well...we've had almost 150" of snow.

the 535xi has Conti snows and i'm running the OE all season RFT Contis on the 335xi. the all seasons aren't as good, but it gets around.

i had the fairing on as well...didn't help much unless driving at higher speeds...

i put the rack on, and the clips left permanet stretch marks on the seals--this was in the summer. it never really regained it's factory form.

i don't know if it would cause water leaks...and...

bars make a lot of noise....use the trunk.

had a yakima on my C5 sedan. kept it on for a few days and noticed it was really distorting the weather seals.

i have some experience with Audis, and my beef is a lack of good service, which requires a 90 mile one-way trip in my area. i have BMWs because the local sales and service is superior to the Audi...

x drive works well crappy weather, and the N54 is a good engine.

550's V8 is nice, but if AWD is helpful, the 535 does a great job.
