I would make sure axle is good as well

I was having a similar issue. It probably isn't your axle, but it would be good to rule out. My bad shaking/vibration when accelerating came down to an axle in the rear.

Dave, I was just looking in the kick panel and initially couldn't find the fuse you were referring to. I looked closer at the diagram and realized it was right next to the ecu, not in the kick panel....

If you are close enough to a dealer, you can ask the mechanics to borrow the specialty tool. They don't use it a ton anymore as the 2.7s aren't coming in as often as they were 5 years ago.
