Not only is it what I'm thinking of, but it's arguably what they are hoping I think of

And its misleading.

Good info to know though, I was not aware that outside a skidpad the G's change.

Yes but this is RS

there are no excuses. They know who buys these cars.

You can accidentally buy an S4, M3, M5, M6, SLK, 911. You cannot accidentally buy an RS4.

It's just too niche. I think a lot of people woul...

Did you say Cayman S?

Interesting choices, Z06 and CS. They are like the antithesis of each other. Not that I wouldn't like to drive both.

What would you rather them put in the car? PASM?

I suppose an Audi-like PASM would be better.

Is the reason they keep clinging to DRC simply because they are trying to save face?

Or is it that it does quite well enough for the intended...

I think you're right, although to report that is somewhat an attempt to mislead.

That's like saying the engine in that car can power a vehicle to 60mph in 1 second. If the vehicle weight 50 pounds.

Another lame example of Audi not offering the RS consumer choice

Audi needs a bit more choice over here for top end buyers. Not quite as insane as Porsche, but something a bit more interesting.

Are you kidding?

I think you are kidding right?

A V10 has to be heavier, the turbos on top of it, the car is heavier and I would imagine that the dry sum means a lower COG, but how much can that help?

Does a...

How is the RS6 Avant gonna pull 1.2G?

This article claims that it will be able to pull up to 1.2G, presumably in stock form.

The RS4 doesn't pull close to 1G, so how the hell is this car going to do that much better? As far as I know...

I'll give you one thing though about the weight

The car is damn heavy. But somehow, Astin Martin managed to make a smaller coupe, seating only 2, with no AWD, actually not much lighter. So I don't know who should feel bad.. Maybe that is how Audi...

I have no idea, I adopt it as a myth and use that tongue in cheek. I don't really care what the

reason is, the car is what it is, and I look forward to an improved version. I somehow doubt the RS5 will be much better.

Yes and no.

I already acknowledged that federal regulations were a primary source of the problem. Go back and read what I wrote.

And I guess I should still note that I still love the car in spite of all this....

I think you're making assumptions

Do you have real knowledge of the differences in weight between the B7 S4 and the B7 RS4's driveline components? Or chassis? They are the same as far as I'm aware.

Look, the point is this car is...

GT3 has no practicality because of its front lip. Good luck getting it into a gas station

half of them will end up ripping up the front.

I know they made it so you can cheaply replace it, but the point is, you're gonna be watching every hill you go down.

Not a good situation. That...

No I don't know what you mean. You think the previous generation S4/S8 wasn't luxorious?

There is a balance that's supposed to be struck. Things are out of balance now, even for BMW.

Know what I mean?

The S5 is pretty close to the RS4? According to Car & Driver?

What is the 'Ring time for the S5? Has it been done yet?

Unless you are simply talking straight line performance, where most S5 and RS4 and S4 owners for that matter simply don't care.

I'd like...

That's sort of what dogs the car for me. That engine may be looming.. or maybe it's not..

So if it never comes out, you may with you had gotten the R8.

If it does come out, well that will sort of suck.

500 lbs. lighter? Is that an acurate figure? And does "any other porsche" come in Lime Green, or wil

you buy the GT3 in Silver?

Seriously, I must live in a rare environment because my RS4 brings me no end to the attention, the pointing, the comments, the racing. And I live in a place where the...

Yellow light came on

I then filled up ~14.5 gallons from that point on. Took that 14.5, which is what had been used prior obviously, and divided it into my trip meter's mileage.

Whether a full tank or almost full is...
