Look I know it sound crude but its so easy to cut hook. Haven't done any repairs yet; still has duct tape sticky on hood; note string I added on latches in case it happens again. Got 12" metal...

A few wood wedges, a sawall and 1 hours hood could be opened. Then its easy to fix.
How many hours of your time have you wasted? Audi should issue a bulletin to open hood.

SEE OTHER POST GUY WENT TO DEALER = Bring on the Sawsall! 2.5 hours later dealer couldn't get the hood open. Referred to a body shop. More specialized tools, etc..

Water coils

Notice: the coil shaft is only down about a 1/4 inch. Electro-magnet only raise shaft a little to open for water circulation. Shaft is spring loaded so its difficult to pry up. Don't want to damage...

TPMS in MMI has on-off switch but MMI doesn't allow me to switch it off.
I updated my MMI to latest version and on-off switch is on TPMS screen in MMI? Must be way to activate it?

My 2006 had small head gasket leak #2 cylinder. Not sudden but leaked into cylinder after setting. Used head gasket seal product to fix. BUT Sudden problem and no compression is BIG deal.
